A place to be fully human

Therapy for adults and teens navigating anxiety, grief, identity, relationships, and the questions that make us who we are.

In-person in San Francisco. Online across California.

I offer therapy grounded in radical accompaniment, cultural humility, and a belief that we deserve more than a life spent performing for others.

Many of my clients are mixed-race or Asian American, children of immigrants, or people navigating multiple worlds. They may appear to be managing everything well while privately feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed – or wondering who they are beneath years of adapting to others' expectations.

Others come carrying grief, supporting loved ones through illness, confronting mortality, or questioning what makes a meaningful life.

Together, we can make room for all of it: the identities we inhabit, the losses we carry, and the lives we're still figuring out how to live.

What we can explore together

Identity, belonging & relationships

For teens and adults navigating cultural complexity, family expectations, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, intimacy, and the tension between belonging and being yourself.

Grief, mortality & meaning

Growing up & finding your way

For adolescents and teens navigating friendships, family dynamics, identity, school pressure, and the uncertainty of figuring out who they want to become.

I'm an off-gridder turned city gal, an activist turned psychotherapist, mixed Chinese and Russian Jewish, and second-generation. I’ve spent much of my life navigating multiple worlds, feeling pressures to perform or adapt, and grappling with the existential questions of being alive.

I graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley in 2013, where I studied environmental justice, and spent a decade working at the intersection of technology and social change. I later earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

My therapeutic training includes gestalt psychotherapy, depth-oriented traditions, transpersonal explorations, and somatics. I practice through the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy and work with the support of a wonderful mentor and supervisor named Gieve Patel.

Come as you are.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for before we talk. We can start with what's happening in your life, what feels difficult, and what you hope might change.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together might be a good fit. There's room for your questions, too.
