Hi! It’s good to meet you this way. I’m Zoë. 👋🏼

I am a Lost Coast off-gridder turned city gal and a political activist turned psychotherapist.

I’m mixed race (Chinese and Russian Jewish), second-generation, and mostly able-bodied with some experience of chronic pain due to scoliosis.

I received my bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in 2013, worked for a decade in social justice, and received my master’s degree from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

I trained in gestalt therapy at Church Street Counseling Center, and then moved on to start my private practice via the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. I have a wonderful mentor and supervisor named Gieve Patel.

To learn more about me, see my about page. To learn more about how I hold my therapeutic work, see my services page.

For people living between worlds…

I offer therapy for people seeking radical accompaniment, cultural attunement, and a deeper sense of agency in their lives.

Many of my clients are mixed-race or Asian American, children of immigrants, gender-expansive, or otherwise navigating multiple worlds at once. They often arrive feeling caught between cultures, relationships, expectations, or versions of themselves.

We explore questions of identity, belonging, family, intimacy, and self-trust. Therapy can be a space to loosen the grip of inherited expectations, reconnect with inner guidance, and discover what becomes possible when you no longer have to perform.

Come as you are!
