I am a Lost Coast off-gridder turned city gal and a political activist turned psychotherapist.
I’m mixed race (Chinese and Russian Jewish), second-generation born in the U.S., from a working-class background, and able-bodied with some experience of chronic pain due to scoliosis.
I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and trained in gestalt therapy at Church Street Counseling Center. I now practice at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy.
Lived experience
Some of the big themes I have grappled with in my lifetime are grief & loss, workaholism & perfectionism, gender & sexuality, scoliosis & body image, spirituality & creativity, anxiety & depression, trauma & ptsd, individualism & collectivism, sexual assault, infidelity & trust, monogamy & polyamory.
