About me
I am a Lost Coast off-gridder turned city gal and a political activist turned psychotherapist.
I’m mixed race (Chinese and Russian Jewish), second-generation in the U.S., and able-bodied with some experience of chronic pain.
I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from CIIS and trained at Church Street Integral Counseling Center. I now practice at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy.
How I work
I meet people with presence, curiosity, and care – while practicing owning my own process.
My approach blends Gestalt, somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, and cultural attunement.
We go slowly. We stay connected. You remain the expert of your experience.
Lived experience
Grief, caregiving, workaholism, pressure, gender, chronic pain, spirituality, anxiety, depression, trauma, individualism and collectivism, monogamy and polyamory, and disconnection from creativity.
Training
• MA in Counseling Psychology (CIIS)
• 10 years in social justice and community organizing
• 200-hour yoga teacher training
• Long-term personal healing and embodiment work
• Global travel and cross-cultural experience
Outside the room
I’m sensitive, love to laugh, nibble on chocolate chips, read and write, walk with my partner and dog, and nerd out on astrology.
